Hartford Theaters & Halloween Plays
For many, much of the excitement of Halloween is creating the perfect costume, and many local Hartford towns have parades to celebrate the Season, as well as their craftsmanship. Some Hartford parades include more than just locals in costume - they feature floats along with the endless sea of dressed up and decked out ghouls and goblins. Many Hartford parades even welcome participation from crowd members who are dressed to impress in their finest Halloween Getup, and some Parades even offer prizes for spectacular costume entries.

Nightmare on Main: "Nightmares" The 2025 event is our eleventh year of presenting creepy, haunting stories mostly based on history. This year 'Nightmares" will present scenes inspired by true stories. Take a dark journey from including some railroad stories of eastern Connecticut.
